About Phitsanulok
Phitsanulok is a historic city in northern Thailand, founded more than 600 years ago. It was once an important center during the Sukhothai and Ayutthaya periods and even served as a royal residence. The city is known for Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat, home to the revered Phra Buddha Chinnarat image. Phitsanulok played a key role in the history of Thai kings and remains a cultural and historical hub today.
